What’s happening in 3/4C

Term 4 is slowly coming to an end which means so is our time together!

In 3/4 Carlson we have continued to have a lot of fun learning particularly in our English unit which has had poetry as our main focus. We have learnt the structure of different poems which have included acrostic, limerick and simile.

We have also had some reflection time about the year we have had together. Here are some of our favourite moments from the year.

Lily: My highlight was going on camp.
Charlie: My highlight for the 2024 year was Miss Carlson!
Chloe: My highlight is the whole year – we have done lots of fun things
Zora: Getting to meet new friends and meeting our whole class.
Aaliyah: Spending time with Miss Carlson.
Elijah: Meeting all my friends.
Tanya: Camp! I liked going on the zipline.
Isak: Drawing in mindfulness.
Olivia: Creating and listening our class playlist on Spotify.
Danny: I loved School Soccer and Cricket.
Summer: Camp! I liked sleeping tents.
Connor: Camp! I loved all of it.
Sienna: Spending time with my friends, Miss Carlson and going on camp.
Hunter: Camp! I liked sleeping in the dorms with my friends.
Hazel: Camp, I loved everything!
Quinn: I liked swimming week.
Griffin: Going to Minecraft club
Vivien: Miss Carlson being my teacher.

Miss Carlson’s highlight of the year: Getting to know all my wonderful students, having lots of fun learning and growing together, seeing people grow in confidence and of course our awesome class playlist we made.
