As we move toward the end of the school year, there has been a wonderful sense of generosity, creativity, and faith across our Nativity community.

Vinnies Christmas Appeal
Our annual Vinnies Christmas Appeal is going extremely well. We are so proud of our families for their kindness and generosity. Many have contributed a wide range of non-perishable food and toys, support families in need this Christmas. A special thank you to the Page family, whose Nanna has delivered an incredible amount of food donations on behalf of the family. Please have donations to the school by Thursday 27th November.

Christ the King Mass
Students in our Junior Primary classes have been busy preparing for the upcoming Christ the King Mass. They have been designing and decorating colourful crowns to display on the pews. This Mass will be held on Sunday the 23rd November at 10am in the Nativity Church. All welcome.

Archbishop’s Christmas Card Competition
Students across the school have also been participating in the Archbishop’s Christmas Card Competition. They have been reflecting on the meaning of Christmas and expressing their faith through art and design. The entries show both artistic skill and a deep understanding of the Christmas message of hope and peace.

Cardijin Year 9 Volunteers Day
Last week we were lucky enough to have a group of Year 9 students from Cardijin College join us for their Volunteers Day. The students spent time helping to weed the church gardens, worked alongside our children in classrooms, and joined in play during lunch and recess.

Our students loved having the “big kids” here — they were helpful, fun, and showed great respect and kindness throughout the day. We are so grateful for their time and energy. Thank you, Cardijin College!

Looking Ahead
As we approach the final weeks of Term 4, we are preparing for two important community celebrations.

• Our Carols Night will be held on Tuesday, 3 December, beginning with a family picnic at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Nativity Play and Carols.
• On Monday 8 December, we will celebrate our End of Year Thanksgiving and Graduation Mass at 9:15 a.m. This Mass will be a time to give thanks for the blessings of 2025 and to farewell our graduating Year 6 and to celebrate to the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
