What’s happening in 3/4R
What a wonderful and busy Term 4 it has been in our classroom! Students have been embracing every learning opportunity with enthusiasm as we head toward the end of the year.
One of the highlights of the term was our excursion to the Hahndorf Farm Barn, where students enjoyed hands-on animal encounters, feeding the farm animals, and learning more about life on a working farm. We followed this with a visit to Beerenberg for strawberry picking, which was an absolute delight. Students loved exploring the patch, carefully selecting their berries, and tasting the fruits of their hard work!
In the classroom, we have been diving into our final units of learning. In Mathematics, students have been finishing their work on Statistics and Probability, collecting data, interpreting graphs, and exploring chance through engaging hands-on activities. Their confidence in using mathematical language and reasoning has grown significantly.
We have also been busy creating our own comics, combining storytelling, visual design, and creativity. Students have enjoyed developing characters, crafting plots, and experimenting with layout and humour.
With Christmas just around the corner, the classroom has been filled with festive excitement as we work on a range of Christmas crafts. Students are showing great focus and creativity as they make projects to bring home and share with their families.
It’s been a vibrant and productive term, and we are so proud of the progress each student has made. We look forward to celebrating their achievements as we finish the school year together.
