St Joseph Day & Project Compassion Carnival

Our school community enjoyed a lovely celebration of St Joseph’s Day, coming together in a spirit of faith, generosity and fun. We began the day by gathering as a whole community to celebrate Mass, which set a meaningful and reflective tone for the day ahead.

Between recess and lunch, our Year 3–6 students hosted a lively Project Compassion Carnival. Students were invited to bring a gold coin donation to enjoy the carnival activities, with many also choosing to purchase a sausage sizzle. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, $1,101.35 was raised for Project Compassion.

A big thank you to our Year 3–6 teachers for supporting students to prepare their stalls, Mrs Marker for coordinating sausage orders and counting donations, Mr Bawden for cooking the sausages, and especially Mrs Baulderstone for coordinating the day. It was a wonderful community effort and a joyful way to honour St Joseph.Box content
