Dear Families
As we move into the most sacred time of the Church’s year, we invite our whole school and parish community to journey with us through Holy Week. This is a special time when we remember the final days of Jesus’ life, his welcome into Jerusalem, his service to others, his suffering, and ultimately the hope of the Resurrection. For our students, these presentations are a powerful way to enter the story of Holy Week with prayer, reflection, and understanding.
We warmly invite families and parishioners to join us for our student-led Holy Week presentations:

These prayerful experiences help our students deepen their understanding of Jesus’ love and sacrifice and invite us all to reflect on how we can live out this message in our daily lives. We would love to have you join us.

The Joy and Hope of Easter
Holy Week leads us to the great celebration of Easter, the heart of our Christian faith. Easter reminds us that love is stronger than suffering, hope is stronger than fear, and life is stronger than death. Through the Resurrection, Jesus shows us that even in difficult times, God is always bringing new life and new possibilities.
For our students, Easter is an opportunity to reflect on how they can be people of hope, showing kindness, standing up for justice, forgiving others, and caring for those in need. As a Josephite community, we are called to live this Easter message each day by loving one another and responding generously to the world around us.

Young Environmental Leaders Forum
Earlier this week, our Sustainability Leaders, Kenji, Chloe, Hudson and Bob attended the Young Environmental Leaders Forum at Wilfred Taylor Reserve, hosted by Green Adelaide. This was a wonderful opportunity for them to begin shaping their sustainability project for the year and to explore initiatives they can introduce across our school campus.

During the day, students:
• learned about caring for the environment through practical sustainability actions
• connected with students from other schools
• participated in Aboriginal cultural experiences and traditional games led by inspiring Kaurna presenters
• spent time immersed in nature, reflecting on our responsibility to care for Country
We look forward to seeing the leadership and creativity they bring back to our community as they continue to develop new sustainability initiatives at Nativity.
