SAPSASA Athletics 2026

Well done to all of our students who competed at the 2026 SAPSASA Athletics Day. Throughout the day, students demonstrated outstanding determination and resilience, while also enthusiastically cheering on and supporting one another across all events.

Our Year 4 students attended for the first time and showed great perseverance and skill in each of their events. Jordan performed particularly well, finishing 3rd in shot put and achieving a strong result in the long jump.

Our Year 5 students also had a very successful day. Ethan placed 5th in the high jump with an impressive height of 1.15 m and recorded a great long jump of 3.18 m. Amity showed excellent athleticism, achieving a 5 m shot put throw and executing a perfect race strategy to finish 3rd in the 1500 m.

Our Year 6 students ran some excellent races and performed strongly in the field events. Matilda placed 5th in the high jump, Mila finished 2nd in shot put with a throw of 5 m, and Amaya achieved 1st place in the discus. All relay teams ran exceptionally well, with our Year 5 and 6 boys finishing 4th in their race.

A big thank you to Brett Middleton for coordinating the day, and to Becci Broad for supervising our Nativity students and assisting Brett throughout the event.

Well done to everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of all our students at Nativity!
