From the APT&L
Dear Families,
Throughout Term 3, students across all year levels have been exploring our Future Focused Learning global concept, Change and Transformation. Through inquiry, creativity and collaboration, students investigated how change shapes our world, communities and personal growth. From Reception students exploring storytelling and communication, to Year 1/2 students learning about changes in toys, technology and local history, Year 3/4 students designing sustainable solutions, and Year 5/6 students examining leadership, citizenship and social change, learners have made meaningful connections between their learning and the world around them.
Beyond the classroom, students have also been busy preparing for our upcoming Nativity to Broadway performance. Rehearsals have provided opportunities for students to build confidence, teamwork and performance skills as they work together to bring this exciting production to life.
We also have 12 students performing at the Catholic Schools Music Festival next Monday evening. These students have dedicated many hours to rehearsing and refining their musical skills, and we are proud to see them represent our school as part of this special event.
As we look ahead to Term 4, students will begin exploring our next Future Focused Learning global concept, Beyond Tomorrow. This will encourage them to think creatively about the future and consider how today’s actions can shape the world of tomorrow.

“I have liked learning maths and using the clocks to figure out the time. It was fun learning about toys from the olden days. I loved doing persuasive writing”. – Samay Year 2

“I have liked doing Grandparents Day practise and learning the dance. We had a great excursion where we learned the history of local Aboriginal people”. – Ethan Year 5
“It has been great learning our Grandparents Day dance and also making our props. On our excursion to Warraparinga we made our own boomerang designs, went on a cultural walk and tour of the landscape and also made bush tucker. I didn’t like the bush tucker!” – Aaliyah – Year 5
We are proud of the curiosity, creativity and resilience our students have demonstrated throughout the term, and we thank our families for their ongoing support of learning at Nativity.
