From The Principal

Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Friends of Nativity School,

This Friday, we look forward to welcoming grandparents and special visitors to our annual Grandparents and Special Friends celebration. This special occasion provides students with the opportunity to honour and celebrate the important role grandparents play in their lives and to share in the joy of learning and community together. The performances are 10.30 and 12.30 with morning tea in between.

We extend our sincere thanks to all grandparents and special guests who will join us for this treasured event. We are also grateful to the many parents who have generously donated items for the morning tea and volunteered their time to assist on the day. Your generosity and hospitality create a warm, welcoming and memorable experience for our visitors, and reflect the strong sense of community that is such a valued part of our school. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to parents Marissa and Ari, and the Nativity staff Scott and Ally, and all of our teachers, for the tremendous work they have put into preparing students for Grandparents Day. The time, care and dedication invested in rehearsals, planning and organisation have ensured our students are ready to share their talents and create a memorable celebration.

Congratulations to our talented choir who represented our school at the Catholic Schools Music Festival, Many Voices, One Journey on Monday night. Your dedication, enthusiasm and commitment throughout months of rehearsals culminated in a wonderful performance; a highlight for me was the medley of John Franham songs. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented our school and thank the staff and families who supported you along the way.

Looking ahead, we are pleased to share that construction and refurbishment of our student amenities will commence early next term. This project is an important investment in our school and will provide enhanced facilities for both current and future students. We look forward to sharing updates as progress is made.

It’s hard to believe Term 4 is not far away! This term is always a busy and rewarding time, providing opportunities to celebrate achievements and reflect on growth as we bring another successful year to a close. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday, 12th October, for the start of another great term of learning.
