From the APRIM
Dear Families,
As we move through a very special and busy time of the year, there are many opportunities for us to come together as a Catholic community in prayer, celebration and service.
October: The Month of the Holy Rosary
October is traditionally recognised in the Catholic Church as the Month of the Holy Rosary. The Rosary invites us to slow down, reflect on the life of Jesus through the eyes of Mary, and bring our joys, worries and hopes to God in prayer.

Carols Night
Our much-loved Carols Night will be held on Tuesday 1 December, with families welcome from 5.00pm (Families bring a picnic) for a 6.00pm start.
The evening will include our Nativity Play, as well as Christmas carols presented by each year level. It is always a wonderful night of joy and celebration and, most importantly, a chance for us to simply enjoy being together as a community as we prepare for the birth of Jesus.
End of Year Thanksgiving and Graduation Mass
Our End of Year Thanksgiving and Graduation Mass will be celebrated on Monday 7 December at 9.15am.
This is always a particularly special moment in our school year. We come together to give thanks for the year that has been and to celebrate and pray for our Graduands as they prepare to take their next steps beyond Nativity.
Following Mass, our Graduands will remain for cake with their families, providing a lovely opportunity to celebrate their primary school journey together. All families and members of our community are warmly invited to join us for Mass.
Vinnies Christmas Appeal
As we prepare for Christmas, we are also reminded that this time of year can be particularly difficult for families experiencing hardship. Our Vinnies Christmas Appeal gives us a practical way to live out our call to care for others and show generosity to those in need.
Families are invited to donate what they can, including special Christmas foods, tinned and non-perishable goods, and new toys. Every donation, large or small, can make a difference to another family this Christmas.
Our Student Leadership Team will be collecting donations, with all goods to be received by the end of Week 6. Representatives from Vinnies will join us at the Year 1/2 Assembly on Friday 20 November to receive our school community’s donations.
As we approach the end of another school year, may we continue to find opportunities to pray together, celebrate together and care for one another, remembering that the way we serve others is at the heart of who we are as a Catholic community.
In all things love
Rachel Baulderstone
