What’s happening in 3/4RM
Year 3/4 Ruddock/McCormack have had a lovely start to Term 3. This term, we have had a big focus on Grandparent’s Day and beginning our dance ready for the performance at the end of Term 3. We are very excited to show families our dance and ad when it comes to Grandparent’s Day.
We have also had a lot of fun with Book Week this week and enjoyed dressing up as our favourite book characters.
Our learning within the classroom has been busy and fulfilling. In English we are reading a book called ‘His name was Walter’ and the students are very intrigued with what is happening next in the book…. we struggle to put the book down which is a good sign it is enjoyable.
In Mathematics we are learning about Measurement and 3D shapes which is a lot of fun hands-on activities. In Religious Education we are focusing on Being a member of the Church and the RELAT learning for the Year 4’s RELAT test later on in the Term.
Students are also very engaged in their individual Special Interest projects which we have started this term. The Special Interest Projects are giving the students agency over the topic of learning and how they present their learning, which is really exciting and engaging.
Overall, a lovely term to begin, and we are looking forward to finishing this Term with the much loved Grandparent’s Day performance.
