What’s Happening in 3/4RM
We have had a busy start to our Term 2 in the 3/4 Ruddock/McCormack class. We have welcomed a new student to our class Georgie, and we have had a lovely time getting to know Georgie and helping her settle into our Nativity community.
In English, we have been learning about persuasive writing and many students have chosen fun and interesting topics to practice their persuasive skills like school should only be for four days and why waffles are better than pancakes.
In Maths, we have been learning about Algebra and Money. Students have been engaged in our classroom economy of getting paid an income with paper money for their jobs each week and paying rent with their income for their chairs and tables each week. This is a fun and realistic opportunity for the students to learn about money and real-life situations.
In Religious Education, students have been learning about Pope Francis, Pope Leo, and the Seven Sacraments. The students really enjoyed watching the live stream of the smoking ceremony and the conclave as Pope Leo was being elected.
The students across 3/4 also participated in Arch D Podcasting in Week 2. This was a very busy week, and all the Podcasts can be listened to on the Arch D Website under School of the Nativity. All students tried their best in these Podcasts which is evident through listening to them.
Overall, it has been a lovely start to the Term, and we are looking forward to what the remainder of the term brings.
